The Ground Gralloch shows the partial gralloch where the green offal is removed while leaving the red offal (pluck) intact for transport off the hill or other remote locations, where it is important to minimise the potential for carcass contamination during extraction. This version also shows alternative methods of performing the gralloch including tunnelling, removing the head from underneath, head inspection and urinary tract removal.
